Larry Stephens

 Larry Stephens taught art, design and music at Middleton High School from 1992 to 2016. He received a BS in Art Education from UW Madison in 1992 and an MFA in 2000.
Stephens was raised on a farm in southwest Wisconsin and currently resides in Madison.

“Inspiration for creating art comes from many different fields of human endeavor. I am interested in creating forms that are visually compelling and that suggest content ripe for interpretation through association and metaphor. Ideas from literature, music, poetry, history, design, mythology and philosophy converge and resonate on multiple levels.”
